Shiznit

This is a sketch for a cd cover I’m doing for my mum. the idea is love notes, i’m going to have musical bars coming out from the guitar and have quavers on the bars but instead of ovals have hearts. Cool huh? Now if I could just work out the guitar anatom i’d be fine. I like the way this it turning out because I haven’t used any sort of ref at all and i really love the way that foot is looking.

I haven’t posted much lately (or at all) and I plan to change that. Lately I’ve been busy with school, portfolio, and all that jazz. Although I have had the experience of catching up on the latest movies. I’ve recently watched watchmen, inglorious basterds, and up. Watchmen was cool but it was quite long. Inglorious basterds totally kicked some serious ass. Oh lord it was so unexpected to see mike myers. I knew he was going to be in the movie and all but its still really unexpected to see him do a movie like this, it was really awesome actually. oh and i loved this character. This movie gets two Siobhan thumbs up. Also because they totally shot Hitler in the face. Up was also a great movie. I balled my eyes out in the beginning. It was such a cute movie, I recommend it to everyone.

Life is busy lately. Working on two scholarship subjects, studying for exams. ALSO! before I forget. I got accepted into animation school. I’m so stoked. Its going to be a good year next year.

Anyway, here, have a collage of sketches.

I just heard the news about an hour ago. I am completely in shock, I actually can’t believe its happened. Such a tragic end.. and he was only 50. I grew up with his music, his music such an inspiration to me and to others. In the words of Quincy Jones “He had it all — talent, grace, professionalism and dedication.” He will be missed.”

Plus, it’s my ball tomorrow. I got mah nailz did. I just got fake acrylic nails today..

i think they’re cute ^^. The guy basically put this cement stuff on my nails. It’s really hard to type with them.

So anyway, the ball is tomorrow. I hate how much i spent on this, and  i now officially hate spending money. I’m glad there’s only one ball. -_- fuck, never again. although i’m sure its going to be fun.. never again. Idk, I think I’m just in a bad mood because of Michael Jackson. It still hasn’t really sunk in for me. I mean, I grew up listening to this guy, and now he’s just kind of gone. *sigh*

yea so i just animated this jolty lil thing. how the hell am i going to get into animation school when i can’t even animate??! lol. This took about 30-40mins so i can’t really complain XD

It’s supposed to be about childhood and being carefree and young. Although it’s kind of set in the twilight years of childhood, so time is running out, and then all of a sudden being forced to grow up.

The one up top is pissing me off though because she’s looking significantly older than she’s supposed to. ‘-_-a I figure I might as well upload something.
